Pacific Power & Systems is looking for a highly motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
This position will bend conduit of all trade types and sizes, pull and terminate all types and sizes of wire and cable.
Installs and tests equipment, switchgear, panels, sensors and various control components and devices.
Operate equipment for various installations (tuggers, table benders, rotary benders, hand benders etc.
) Journeyman will take direction from the foreman and complete all tasks assigned correctly and completely in a timely fashion.
Journeyman will oversee apprentices and be directly responsible for their safety, as well as quality and completeness of their install.
We offer $82 per hour, or prevailing wage of job site jurisdiction for this full-time position, Monday/Friday.

What this Role Will Do:
Work is performed safely with all required precautions taken and required safety reviews documented.
Strictly adhering to all company safety policies.
Consistently reports to work on time with all the tools required and the knowledge to efficiently perform the tasks that they are assigned.
Maintains and updates As-Built-Drawings daily.
Oversees apprentices.
Checking the apprentices’ work for proper installation.
Mentoring apprentices for proper techniques and use of personal/company tooling/equipment.
Report to your foreman for daily tasks.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
Current CA electrician certification.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training preferred.
Have a minimum of (2) years’ experience as a journeyman electrician preferred.
