*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes
- Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements
- Analyze contract documents to identify project scope, schedule, and budget
- Collect data and document construction progress, issues, and resolutions
- Perform quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets industry standards
- Collaborate with project team members to address construction-related challenges
- Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors
*Position Requirements:*
- Registered Civil Engineer licensed in California
- Minimum 6 years of documented experience acceptable to Caltrans in Roadway Construction Inspection and shall have a minimum of 2 of these 6 years as a lead worker
