Hello Jobhunters! Our Client is looking to have a contractor join their team for a 6-month engagement.
*Schedule: *Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Lunch and dinner provided onsite)
*Environment:* 90% MacOS, 10% Window
* Serve as the primary escalation point for employees seeking technical assistance, providing technical support in-person, via chat, and ticketing.
* Maintain in-office presence three days a week to promptly and effectively address support requests
* Oversee the upkeep of office endpoints, including laptops, mobile devices teleconferencing equipment, networking infrastructure, and audio-visual equipment
* Execute advanced troubleshooting, both remotely and in-person, and install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally
* Deliver exemplary support to the executive team
* Document IT processes and services, proactively suggesting process enhancements
* Manage assets for hardware and software, ensuring optimal resource allocation
* Contribute to project teams, ensuring the successful implementation of new systems or upgrades
* Undertake repairs, maintenance, and installations of computer hardware and software
* Provide comprehensive training to end-users on IT systems, offering one-on-one sessions
* Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures, such as user access controls to safeguard company data
* Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware and software procurement and support, ensuring cost-effective solutions
* Communicating and enforcing information security policies
* Maintaining information security governance and compliance standards
* Assist in conducting control risks assessments to identify vulnerabilities internally and within vendor or 3rd party supplier products
* Aid in risk mitigation, risk exception process, and conducting residual risk analysis
* Support audit execution processes by providing compliance consultations on various frameworks and best practices
* Collecting, reviewing and uploading evidence to GRC tools
* Assist in risk analysis and evaluation
* Provide input for risk trends, emerging threats, and issues
* Mentor personnel on best security practices through cross-fuctional work with multiple technical and non-technical teams
*Requirements and Preferred Experience: *
* Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate IT support role, with demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
* Demonstrate proficiency across multiple platforms, including OSX, Windows, iOS, and Android
* Competence in networking tools, particularly Meraki
* Experience with teleconferencing equipment
* Working knowledge of Google Apps, Office 365, Zoom and Atlassian tools preferred
* An understanding of SOCII and ISO27001 frameworks
* Functional experience in an agile work environment
* Capability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
* A proactive problem-solving approach with a hands-on attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
* Ability to collaborate seamlessly across departments to continually enhance our employee support services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with GRC tooling preferred
