Job Summary:
This position will be a on-site in-person job with job-site safety inspections, working with the assigned crew foreman and his team to ensure safe practices are being met daily.
Help improving our overall standards of practice to validate no fractions are made and our team is daily reminded of there imperative role of sustaining a safe working environment.
You will be required to address and document all job-site incidents from utility strikes that cause service interruption, team safety, truck and equipment safety protocols and etc.
The position will involve calling in USA Locates for job-site safe excavation, tracking and white-lining of these sites.
Working closely with our office on a daily for emailing in daily site locations and production.
The new team member must obtain certifications as a safety manager in the construction industry showcasing a commitment to ensuring a safe work environment.
These certifications must minimally cover areas such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, construction safety, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
The minimum requirements are as follows to name a few:
* *OSHA Standards:* Familiarity with OSHA regulations is crucial for ensuring compliance and promoting a safe workplace.
* OSHA 30: Obtaining a OSHA 30 certification and CPR certification
* *Construction Safety:* Understanding the specific hazards and safety protocols unique to construction sites, including fall protection, equipment safety, and hazard communication.
* *Risk Management:* Identifying potential risks, implementing preventive measures, and developing contingency plans to mitigate hazards and accidents.
* *Emergency Response Protocols:* Being prepared to respond effectively to emergencies such as accidents, fires, natural disasters, or medical incidents.
