BARTER TRADE SELL - 1966 Chevelle Malibu Coupe possible L79 COPO built
i have a 1966 Chevelle Malibu coupe that might be a factory L79 COPO built 66 Chevelle.
The car is a street and drag strip racer from the late 1960's and was raced at the Fremont drag strip.
The Chevelle has a balanced and blueprinted 327 V/8 engine, a factory 4 speed transmission and a factory 12 bolt rear axle.
the interior has factory floor mounted front bucket seats, no power steering, 4 wheel drum brakes, and no other accessories other then the original AM radio and a heater, and yes, it has the 3/8" dia.
original fuel line on the frame from the factory.
Rumor has it all L79 cars were only built in Norwood, Ohio, and my 1966 Chevelle was built in Norwood, Ohio too.
I have every factory installed L79 option on the car, and it is 99% L79, but no paper work to prove it.
Do you know how to get a real factory window sticker for a 1966 Chevelle? - if so, all me at show contact info ASAP.
Thanks!
the Day Two modifications are:
an Offenhauser Dial A Flow medium rise aluminum intake manifold

a set of Holley finned cast aluminum valve covers
a HURST 4 speed competition plus chrome handle shifter with a black cue ball
a Sun chromed metal housing tachometer
a set of 3 black and white under dash gauges
a Grant chrome and wood rimmed steering wheel

and a set of 1960's Anson Sprint mag wheels with the original 50 year old drag racing PRO TRAC tires still on the rims - 15" x 8.
5" wide mag wheels in the rear, and 14" x 7.
5" wide mag wheels in the front.
All the original speed parts were put on this Chevelle back in the late 1960's and are all date coded and original.
The body is a 66 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe with a factory 327 engine, factory 4 speed transmission and a factory 12 bolt rear axle assembly, and this could very well have been a factory built L79 COPO 1966 Chevelle, but no guarantees.
The 66 Chevelle is up for sale for $45,000 - or will take the best trade offer with $35,000 in cash plus a true valued $10,000 valued trade of a car, truck or RV.
Serious inquires only please.
