Looking for a home to rent in Hercules (hercules, pinole, san pablo, el sob)

We are a family of four.
Looking to rent a home in the Hercules area as we have two children in Hercules middle/High school.
We are truly looking for a place to call home for the next two to five years as the kids are grounded with school and friends.
We currently live in the Hanna ranch area but we have out grown our current home as it is only a two bedroom with a loft.
It’s time the kids have their own rooms.
We decided to post this ad after a lot of thought.
Before my divorce years ago I owned a home in Pinole and a rental.
We understand this is your investment for your future.
As we looked at homes owners ask tenant to keep up yards.
Not a problem although as renters we prefer not to invest in yard tools.
Repairs are expected even a light bulb.
When tenants are paying rent they do not want to fix or repair anything.
That’s why they pay rent.
As a pior owner I agree with the above.
We have excellent credit.
Have never paid rent or any bills late in my 30 years.
We want to take care of your investment.
Possibly start with a two year lease to show we are committed.
In return we ask you to work with us on rent , deposit and what expectations you would like for us to care for your home.
Every where we have lived the house has always been kept up.
All small repairs are done by me.
As I am a very good handy man.
Anything major or not comfortable doing.
Please fix asap.
I always want to keep up my yards but remember.
I work also and that’s labor and tools.
As a pior owner these are things I thought about as I wanted my rental taken care of.
Unfortunately some owners just want money.
