Meta is looking for an Internal Communications Manager with a strong background in driving strategic employee campaigns to lead engagement initiatives among Meta Engineers.
In this position, you will work with cross-functional engineering and communications partners to inspire our engineers about the company’s long-term strategy and vision and celebrate their contributions towards achieving it.
This role is part research, part content creation and part event execution.
Internal Communications Manager, Companywide Campaigns Responsibilities:
Partner with Engineers across the company to design and implement creative content series across internal Engineering channels
formats include video, written text and live programming
Oversee the planning and execution of and measure results for large-scale, in person Engineering events, as well as hybrid and remote Engineering events
Leverage data and analytics to better understand the Engineering community at Meta, inform campaign strategy and evolve and iterate storytelling formats and channels to drive campaign objectives forward
Must be willing to travel at least once per quarter
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in internal communications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
Experience building relationships with and influencing senior Engineers and members of leadership team
Experience with content generation and event programming
Self-starter that thrives in a collaborative environment where you must partner cross-functionally and across regions
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and implementing metrics-driven internal communications campaigns and programs
Experience communicating to an employee population of technologists and engineers
Experience envisioning and executing large and small scale events
Interest about the future of social technology
Fiercely creative with an interest for storytelling
Experience working closely with engineers at an established tech firm, startup, VC or entrepreneurial role
