Business Development Lead, Portfolio, Supercharger

What to Expect Tesla seeks an autonomous, highly energetic, inter-personal leader to support the Charging team’s rapid scaling of deploying Superchargers across North America.
The role is responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships and performance managing a team of Business Development Associates.
This leader will also work closely with regional teams to manage relationships and projects throughout North America.
The responsibilities of this position may expand over time.
This role requires flexibility, a sense of urgency and adaptability to the evolving needs of Tesla’s Charging programs.
What You’ll Do - Identify, negotiate, and scale national portfolio relationships to meet North America Supercharger Deployment targets - Performance manage a team to execute agreements through existing & new portfolio relationships - Design & manage training, onboarding, and performance expectations for Associates - Work with attorneys to draft, negotiate and execute portfolio agreements - Work closely with technical installation colleagues to assess and manage installation costs and timeline; proactively improve cost reduction and timelines What You’ll Bring - Experience securing and managing relationships with Fortune 500 companies - Experience driving communication, alignment and execution with internal and external executive stakeholders - Ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities - Impeccable written and verbal communication skills for internal & external stakeholders management; demonstrated professionalism in a customer-facing role - Relentless self-motivation requiring minimal oversight - Autonomous, high-motor approach to execution and achievement.
