com Position Description Identify, evaluate, and execute on global strategic transactions, licensure of pipeline products, as well as identification of new assets.
Responsibilities: Drive business development in alignment with the broader corporate strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders amongst the executive, management and functional teams, working as part of a small – high performance – Corporate Development group Work closely with New Product Planning, IR and the Executive Team in development of an appropriate partnering strategy and plan supporting the company’s Plan of Record Consolidate market understanding, based on Rezolute’s target product profile, indications and anticipated advancements in the disease space to: Fully characterize the competitive market landscape and current/future dynamics shaping the space Identify global, regional and country specific partners Maintain awareness of deal making climate, important analogues and deal attributes, to address the conditions supporting Rezolute’s partnering strategy Develop market and deal assessments to inform the partner strategy Manage partner engagement to: Message the Rezolute pipeline to potential partners, their BD teams and or key stakeholders Act as point of contact driving the Rezolute business development process, working with potential partners to advance program understanding Assess and identify partnering leads for recommendation Drive the partnering process, coordinating due diligence, negotiation, contracting, and decision-making Manage, coordinate and support all business development activity Key Deliverables: Generate analytics to assess opportunities (e.

comparable deal analysis and financial modeling/NPV analysis) and provide diligence support for all transactions (e.

, preparing and setting up diligence files, financing documents, etc.
) Drive the drafting and negotiating of transaction term sheets utilizing creative deal structures and processes Coordinate with commercial function to assess market opportunities and develop a compelling position on the overall value of a potential market to serve as the basis for negotiations Work hand in hand with management, and the commercial team to drive a global product launch and aligned commercialization strategy Coordinate with commercial to ensure all materials and messaging are aligned with the current market sizing and commercial opportunity assessments Prepare necessary tools and information to support partnering activities to include pitch decks, electronic data rooms, confidentiality agreements, information and data share, term sheets, and other materials as needed to engage and maintain productive partnering dialogue and diligence, leading to eventual term sheets negotiations and agreements Drive partnering activities, internal and external meetings, events, presentations, forums Cultivate industry relationships that ensure progressive channels of communication with identified partners Proactively identify future partners that have synergistic development needs in core RZLT therapeutic areas of focus Manage and serve as primary point of contact for business development related industry and academic collaborations, managing the interface for Rezolute as gatekeeper for communication and information share; assemble and manage the VDR and associated content Cultivate close-knit relationships and partnerships with internal colleagues and collaborators to advance BD goals, align messaging and ensure deliverables Build and manage associated systems to organize the business development function and the interconnectivity with internal and external stakeholders Candidate Profile Qualifications/Requirements: MBA plus graduate degree in scientific / medical discipline (Ph.

Rezolute (RZLT) currently anticipates the base salary for the Senior Director of Business Development role could range from $230,000 to $265,000 and will depend, in part, on the successful candidate’s geographical location and their qualifications for the role, including education and experience.
This position will also be eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan (depending, in part, on company and individual performance and at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis).
The compensation described above is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described based on current market survey data and the qualifications, education, experience and geographical location of the selected candidate.
