Informatica is currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Intern who has a passion for strategic external communications centered around thought leadership, PR & media relations and brand awareness & engagement to join our team in Redwood City, CA while supporting US & EMEA activities.
Job Summary
As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will be a key contributor in strengthening Informatica’s cloud leadership platform and AI-powered data messaging among key stakeholders including data leaders, channel partners, customers, media and industry influencers.
You should be passionate about the transformative power of data and enjoys creative storytelling to raise Informatica’s brand visibility.
The Intern will play a critical role in driving a continuous drumbeat around Informatica’s product and partner innovation by supporting our global events and customer engagement program.
Excellent writing, organizational and project management skills are a must for this position as you will be collaborating across multiple teams including product management, marketing, social and digital.
What You’ll Do
Support major company announcements, reinforcing Informatica’s AI-powered solution innovations as a cloud data management platform leader
Support thought leadership and product storytelling, both directly and via agency support, to secure trade and business media coverage in US & EMEA regions
Act as a liaison between the corporate global communications team and social/digital marketing teams on integrated campaigns, as needed
Support monthly reports that include global coverage and KPIs, providing updates to senior management
Key Essentials
Journalism/communications passion and interest
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to prioritize between numerous high-profile projects and responsibilities, solid organizational and project management skills.
