Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team at a play-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program.
You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and critical thinking in young children while fostering cooperative play.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate play-based activities that promote STEAM learning concepts and skills.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages children's social-emotional development and positive behaviors.
* Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress and maintain accurate records of their growth and development.
* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their child's progress and collaborate with them to support their child's learning at home.
You'll have the opportunity to develop close and trusting relationships with your students and their families.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to maintain a positive and cohesive team environment.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
* AA in child Development/ECE, Child Development Teacher Permit or above will be considered.
* Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children in a play-based, STEAM program or Reggio environment.
* Passion for promoting children's love of learning through hands-on, play-based experiences.
* Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
The full-time position could begin immediately.
Part-time is negotiable.
