We're growing and hiring additional teachers to join our team! *We are looking for teachers who can teach on Sundays.
* New Mozart School of Music is a premier music school in Palo Alto serving the community since 1989.
Our teaching and office team consist of passionate musicians/teachers committed to providing a nurturing learning environment to students of all ages and levels.
Many of our teachers have been with us 10 + years including teachers who have been teaching with us for nearly 20 years.
We provide full administrative support including scheduling, enrollment, accounting, recruiting.
We are located in the heart of Palo Alto in the College Terrace Centre (Class A building) which we built from the ground up.
_*We are only accepting applications from teachers in the Bay Area or those who plan to relocate here in the next 30 days.

We have full time admin as well as several part time admins with extensive music and admin experience * Recital opportunities for students at professional venues 3-4 times a year * Yearly faculty recital opportunity at professional venue *Qualifications* * Must have legal status to work in the US with documentation (Visa sponsorship may be offered to qualified candidates) * BA or BM in music (preference is given to MM / PHD / DMA holder) * 2 or more years of experience teaching children * Suzuki, ABRSM, or RCM certification is preferred * Experience preparing students for exams and performances and willingness help students succeed in exams & performances * Patient with students of all ages & levels * Excellent communication skills with students, parents and our administrative team * Responsible and punctual * Resides in the Bay Area with reliable transportation to Palo Alto * 2 year minimum commitment *Hours* * Weekday teaching is generally between 2 pm - 9 pm * Saturday teaching is 9 am - 4:30 pm * Ideal candidates are available to work 6 hours per day (+ a break) with a minimum of 3 days.
* Full-time teaching requires 5 days of teaching *Compensation/Benefits* * Compensation is dependent on education & teaching experience as well as the candidate's ability to retain students * All teachers & staff are hired exclusively as W2 employees not 1099 contractors * *Full-time employees who meet requirements are eligible for benefits* including, Paid Time Off, health, dental, vision and 401K Retirement Investment Matching Plan (opting in gives you automatic 3+-% raise).

Performance opportunity at professional venues during student and/or faculty recital.
Part-time teachers who meet requirements and have demonstrated professionalism, high student retention will be given an opportunity to convert to full-time when opportunity arises.
