*JOB DESCRIPTION* *Summary* The MS Program Manager is a key member of the Middle School Leadership Team and is responsible for coordinating the operations of the Middle School community to ensure smooth functioning and effective deployment of resources.
On a daily basis, the MS Program Manager acts as a hub in the community, addressing a wide array of needs and questions from our Professional Adult Community (PAC), parents/guardians, and students.
Because of their diverse contacts in the community, the MS Program Manager serves as an important liaison for the Head of Middle School and the Middle School Leadership Team, anticipating both short- and long-range needs and providing strategic counsel and support.

*Essential Functions* The responsibilities of the MS Program Manager fall into the following broad categories, with specific functions highlighted to convey the scope of duties without detailing every function.
*Administrative Support:* * Work closely with the Head of Middle School (HoMS) and MS Director of Student Equity and Engagement (DoSEE) to ensure the effective and efficient running of the MS campus * Oversee hiring process logistics and serve as the primary point of contact for finalist visits * Anticipate and meet the daily and long-term needs of the HoMS and MS DoSEE *Communication and Coordination:* * Manage the substitute program for the MS * Manage the daily attendance system and coverage of the front desk * Efficiently process and respond to a high daily volume of correspondence across multiple platforms * Stay in close contact with US Program Manager, Chief Executive Assistant, and other operational staff for efficient task and project management across both campuses * Create and track special schedules and help maintain the master calendar * Communicate with relevant personnel and constituencies for MS events * Coordinate with food service provider for special events or schedules * Attend Divisional Campus Meetings and leadership meetings, supporting as needed *Middle School Event Management:* * Take the lead in organizing the logistics for Middle School events * Collaborate with the Associate Director of Family Engagement to plan and promote parent/guardian education and events *Supervision:* * Manage the MS Assistant and MS Program Assistant * Train and develop direct reports, assigning responsibilities to them in accordance with their skills and strengths *Student Support:* * Monitor students for excessive tardies or absences, providing regular reports to the Student Support Team * Coordinate day-to-day support and care for students as needed *Cultural and Environmental Stewardship:* * Uphold and model Crystal’s Core Values * Maintains confidentiality and builds high-trust relationships across a broad spectrum of constituents * Foster an inclusive school environment *Job Requirements: Education, Certifications, and Work-Related Experience * * Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is required * 3+ years of experience working in an office or school setting in a similar or related capacity * Operational knowledge of web-related technologies * Operational knowledge of Google applications and Gmail * Operational knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint *Preferences* *An ideal candidate will demonstrate:* * Cultural competency and the ability to work well with diverse groups of people * Service-related people skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills * Independence and motivation, requiring little direct supervision * Strong work ethic and follow-through to meet deadlines and fulfill commitments * Executive functioning and time management skills * Self-regulation, resilience, warmth, and a sense of humor in the midst of a highly dynamic middle school environment *Physical Requirements and Work Environment:* * Able to work in a dynamic environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts * Able to lift up to 20 pounds * Able to climb stairs * May work at a desk and computer for extended periods *Travel Required* Light travel between the Middle School and Middle School campuses, as needed.
