Job Description: The school community is seeking a qualified Homeroom Teacher for primary grades for the 2024-2025 school year.
As the homeroom teacher, the applicant will be required to teach English and reading, social science, science, math, and religion.
Collaborating teachers teach Spanish, music, art, and physical education to the students.
Candidates must possess or be working toward: ● A Bachelor’s degree ● A valid California Teaching credential\* (or a reciprocal credential from another state) \*If the candidate does not yet possess a valid California teaching credential, (s)he must acquire one within five years of the date of hire.
Strong candidates will have the following skills & experience: ● 1-5 years teaching elementary age children ● Effective classroom management ● Exemplary professionalism, flexibility, can-do spirit, empathy, and care in collaboration with colleagues ● Demonstrated effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
