We are seeking a passionate and skilled ASL - Life Coach Instructor who is committed to using American Sign Language (ASL) as a tool to enhance learning and independence.
Key Responsibilities: *ASL-Centered Coaching: Utilize American Sign Language to teach and guide individuals in essential life skills and personal development.
* *Individualized Support Plans: Develop and implement tailored support plans to empower clients in their independent living goals.
* *Daily Living Skills: Assist in daily living activities, ensuring instructions and support are effectively communicated through ASL.
* *Community Engagement: Facilitate participation in community activities and events, using ASL to bridge communication gaps.
* *Progress Evaluation: Track and document individual progress, adapting coaching strategies to suit varying ASL competencies.
* Your Qualifications: *ASL Expertise: Strong proficiency in American Sign Language is essential.
* Experience in Life Coaching: Experience working as a life coach, instructor, or in a similar role with individuals with developmental disabilities highly valued.
*Empathetic Communication: Excellent communication skills, focusing on empathy and understanding in ASL.
