*Purpose of Job:*
To consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.
*Job Components:*
* Sell new batteries to National Account dealers
* Rotate batteries and collect cores
* Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date
* Service each National Account dealer
* Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships
* Complete documentation on a timely basis
* Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to Distributorship.
*Qualifications:*
* Must have clean driving record.
* Prior sales experience highly desirable
* Good communication skills
* Strong customer service skills.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Current, valid state driver’s license
* Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
* Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales , customer service and delivery experience
*Scope Data:*
* Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions
*Work Environment *
* Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
* Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
* Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
* Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
