*We are a Mathnasium team that manages a total of eight Mathnasium centers in CA and WA.
*We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to grow with us and help implement our outreach strategies and expand our reach in the community.
Working closely with the Management Team, the Marketing Coordinator is a growing role in our entrepreneurial organization.
This person will work towards the overall outreach strategy and implementation that maximizes our reach in the community.
The Marketing Coordinator is accountable for day-to-day activities including but not limited to school events, brand visibility, relationship building, as well as training staff to support the company’s overall outreach to the community.
The ideal candidate is creative, capable of creating detailed implementation plans, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is results-driven.
A partial list of responsibilities includes:
* Organize, host and lead events such as local family events, school math nights, school fundraising events, etc.
* Administer email and texting programs and maximize their effectiveness
* Create and implement all other promotional strategies, including but not limited to direct mail, billboards, sponsorships, fun factors for students, parents and the company staff
* Extend the community reach by building relationships with school principals, teachers, parents group, homeschool network, PTA and PTOs, local businesses
* Maximize visibility for the business in the communities we target
* Keep up with industry news, competitive landscape, and the latest marketing trends
*Requirements:*
* Two years of experience in general marketing, community outreach, or event planning
* This role requires a lot of happy energy, a good blend of outreach experience, analytical skills, creativity, and a passion for helping family succeed through educational programs
* Leadership capability, to train and coach the support staff on all outreach effort
* Must be comfortable with numbers and excel spreadsheet to track metrics and measure success
* Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
* Experience with online and social media marketing preferred
* Excellent written and spoken communicator
If you are applying for the full-time position, it will require 40 hours a week, and the working hours are typically Mon-Thu 11 am - 7:00 pm, with a Friday or Saturday work day depending on company needs.
