WHAT YOU’LL DO The Prospect Development Senior Analyst (“the Senior Analyst”) is a core member of the growing Prospect Development team at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health.
As the strategic partner to the Principal Gifts team, the Senior Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the foundation maintains a robust pipeline of $10M+ gifts through prospect identification, prospect management, data acquisition, and strategic insight.
The Senior Analyst also serves as liaison for the Corporate and Foundation teams for their prospects capable of making a $10M+ investment or involving principal gift prospects.
Compensation range is $75,000 - $83,000 annually.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR… Prospect Research: Serve as Prospect Development's dedicated liaison for prospect intelligence and strategy for the Principal Gifts team and their portfolios, monitoring for philanthropic, wealth, newsworthy events, and potential engagement opportunities.
Serve as the liaison for prospect intelligence and strategy for the Institutional Relations team for their corporate and foundation prospects capable of making gifts of $10+ and/or related to principal gift prospects.
Serve as the liaison for Board Relations to support the research needs for board nominations and board meetings at the direction of Board Relations and Principal Gift teams.
Prospect Identification: Perform prospect identification to grow and maintain principal gifts pipeline, leveraging internal and external data sources including management of vendor tools focused on high and ultra-high net worth wealth indicators and wealth screenings.
Prospect Management: Manage prospect and assignment updates and support the principal gift team’s portfolio reviews to ensure principal gift data in Raiser’s Edge is accurate while consulting with Assistant Director of Prospect Management on portfolio analysis and system best practices and improvements across revenue teams.
Data Stewardship: Ensure the integrity and security of prospect data within the database, maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Process & Program Improvement: Partner closely with Senior Director of Prospect Development and Principal Gifts’ Senior Director of Operations & Strategy to identify research and system needs and develop workflows that support team-wide goals and revenue forecasts.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training across the foundation as needed on prospect research related topics.
Train new staff members on processes and procedures related to research.
Consult with Assistant Director of Prospect Research to ensure research best practices are consistent across the team and all vendor tools and resulting data are maximized to benefit all revenue teams Industry Insight: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and market developments, offering valuable insights to shape the organization's strategies.
