Job Description The Brand & Marketing Governance Operations Senior Manager is a pivotal role at Visa, responsible for supporting the Brand & Marketing Risk Governance Senior Director in protecting and enhancing the company's brand.
As part of the Global Brand Management team, this role includes assisting in the development and implementation of risk management strategies, managing and monitoring risks, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of and passion for marketing, risk management, and operations management.
Responsibilities: Brand & Reputation Risk Management: • Implement the brand and reputation risk management program, including operational and process management.
• Identify & assess emerging brand risks, and support in developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on quantitative indicators (KPIs and KRIs) to track and report on risk exposure.
• Support the adoption of processes and tools for the brand and reputation risk management program.
Marketing Governance: • Support a strong first-line of defense for the Marketing function globally by managing operational aspects of the governance program, including project management and stakeholder communications.
• Design, deliver training, and monitor Marketing-related policies, standards, guidelines, and processes managing critical marketing risks.
• Manage Marketing governance operations globally, including governance center of excellence communications, online information and training hubs, and ongoing risk management-related activities.
• Provide ongoing guidance, training, and support to Marketing teams to effectively manage risk, while fostering a culture of increased risk tolerance.
This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 7 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or related field or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.
g.
Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.
g.
Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Minimum of 7 years experience in brand management, risk management, or related roles.
Solid understanding of marketing, risk management, and operational governance.
Ability to balance risk tolerance with a strong risk and controls environment.
