What to Expect
We are seeking a full-time Account Manager focused on supporting and growing strategic partnerships for our Residential Channel sales team.
As a sales leader, you’ll accelerate the sales growth of Powerwall & Powerwall+ with our existing B2B national key accounts and distribution partners focused on growing energy storage in the residential market space.
In addition, you’ll onboard new national distribution partners, strategize and implement national training initiatives, and cultivate and grow these partnerships on both the local, regional level as well as the national, holistic level.
This is an exciting career opportunity in a fast-paced environment that requires wearing several hats.
Past experience managing B2B strategic relationships is a must and previous experience with electrical/solar/energy storage distributors is highly encouraged.

The sales superstar that we’re looking for will work remotely but should ideally live close to a major airport.
Travel is an important element of the role and will be required to grow and evolve the business relationships of our clients.
What You’ll Do
Support a number of national strategic accounts and distribution partners that provide financial solutions and logistical efficiencies to our B2B clients along with the sale of our products
Manage day to day existing partnership relationships and expectations while also supporting the onboarding of new national distributors in markets that require additional sales & service coverage
Work with multiple internal teams such as Marketing, Products, Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Training, Service, etc.
to create, launch, and support new initiatives that drive additional volume of products
Be in our key regional distribution locations supporting Mobile Training Van initiatives while also gathering critical feedback from the field to ensure each branch is aggressively growing their Powerwall business
Work cross-functionally to bring new offers, new ideas, and new concepts to market
Work with management to set ambitious goals and targets – and meet them
Provide reliable forecasts and tracking for executive teams
What You’ll Bring
Bachelors, or equivalent
5+ years relevant work experience in tech sales; solar and storage experience a plus
Demonstrated track record of building pipeline and winning business
Entrepreneurial mindset – proven ability to scale new products and services
Past experience building networks and relationships at all levels of an organization (internal & external)
Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills.
Scrappy – proven capacity to solve complex problems with minimal resources
Deep passion for accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy
