Apply now! SUMMARY The Brand and Awareness Marketing (BAM) Team at SAP has a bold vision.
We are the stewards of the SAP brand and use the power of creativity, the reach of media and our partnerships within SAP to enhance perception in the market and attract new audiences.
Within the BAM organization, the Brand Strategy team manages the brand fundamentals, including what the SAP brand stands for.
Specifically, we are responsible for brand, research, brand architecture and naming, as well as corporate positioning and messaging.
We collaborate with and act as a trusted and strategic advisor on these topics to colleagues in marketing, product management, and throughout the organization.
THE ROLE As chief stewards of the SAP brand, the Brand Messaging team within Brand Strategy is seeking a brand strategy and messaging specialist.
You will contribute to the development messaging across various domains including corporate, products/solutions, events, and campaigns, helping to shape and maintain the consistency and effectiveness of the SAP brand message.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS · 3-5 years of experience in brand strategy, with a specific focus on positioning and messaging · Demonstrated ability in developing clear and effective messaging for various aspects of a brand including corporate, products/solutions, events, and campaigns · Experience in conducting and applying customer research to inform and refine messaging strategies · Preferred experience in the enterprise software, tech, or IT industries.
· Copy writing experience highly desired: ideally, the ability to craft persuasive and engaging copy to inspire and guide adoption of messaging guidance · Experience in brand strategy/consulting (agency or client side) or product marketing a strong plus · Consultative, collaborative, unflappable, service-oriented style essential for effectively providing brand strategy services to SAP Marketing and SAP as a whole · Ability to analyze, develop, and articulate complex concepts and data in a simple, clear, and easy way with compelling written and oral communications · Capability to contribute to high visibility projects and collaborate effectively with team member · Ability to analyze, develop, and articulate complex concepts and data in a simple, clear, and easy way with compelling written and oral communications · A proactive mindset, sense of urgency, and “can do” attitude that relentlessly drives initiatives and goals to success · Passionate about building brands that engage audiences and fuel business growth Location Requirements: Candidates can be based anywhere in the US.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity.
SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
The targeted range for this position is 113,700 - 234,200 USD.
The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc.
as determined through the selection process.
