Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) Healthcare Summer 2024 Administrative Internship Program – Undergraduate (On-Site) At Stanford Health Care, we're driven each day by our mission to heal humanity through science and compassion, one patient at a time.

(1) Interventional Platform / Cardiac Cath Lab (On-Site) Interns will participate in performance improvement data collection, analysis and reporting for Interventional Platform Cardiac Cath Lab.
As an intern, you will be introduced and exposed to a highly technical medical environment.
You will be working directly with a certified Six-sigma black belt professional and will have the opportunity to learn more about performance improvement.
Skills: Knowledge of data collection & time studies, familiar with Excel, PowerPoint.
Able to communicate with a variety of clinical staff.
(2) Operating Room (On-Site) Intern will learn about perioperative services and the Lean methodology to solve problem in daily operation.
Interns will participate in observation and data collection for process improvement projects in the operating room.
Skills: Detail oriented, organized, good communication skills (3) Nurse Anesthesia Team (On-Site) Intern will work with the advance practitioner team in the operating room in looking for opportunities for intubation equipment that is disposable versus reusable.
Intern will also support the work on team engagement.
Intern will get the chance to collaborate with advanced practice providers CRNAs for career opportunities and will gain exposure to hospital work environment with process improvement.
Skills: Customer and patient focused, Positive outlook and good communication (4) Nursing Education and Practice (On-Site) Interns will be involved in multiple programs that support the organization’s overall goals, and how the programs are developed and managed.
Interns will participate in departments daily operations by supporting data entry and analysis for multiple classes at CEPD, working as administrative/clerical support for Life Support training center/classes, including registration for training course and onboarding programs.
Intern will gain perspective on how a Center for Education and Professional Development is different than an academic institution as far as the scope of learning provided to customers while building communication skills and working collaboratively with multiple programs.
Skills: • Quick learner for new software application • Ability to communicate well with various learners and display CI-Care values • Time management and organization (5) Radiology Administration (On-Site) Intern will participate in the department’s process improvement program, including variety of projects solving problems at the local level and work with local quality team on quality improvement initiatives and departmental policy updates.
Summer intern may be involved in projects related to quality, process improvement, or clinical project management.
Interns will gain exposure to various radiology departments such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Ultrasound.
The role will assist the directors and managers with project management, data analysis, and process improvement in imaging operations.

Interns will experience a healthcare work environment and will benefit from exposure to conducting customer outreach via surveys, participate in data collection processes, and working with a diverse team.
Skills: Social Media, Graphic Design & Food Services (7) System Engineering (On-Site) Intern will participate in supporting various areas such as Facility Field Services, Systems Engineering, and Security departments with a focus on project coordination and employee engagement.
Interns may support the Inventory management activities including participating in observations and support project managers with meeting preparation and organization.
