The Lead Marketing Coordinator will lead recruitment and marketing operations for a large, industry-sponsored digital recruitment study that plans to enroll approximately 40,000 participants in the United States over two years.
Responsibilities include: Develop long-term marketing and recruitment strategies to meet ambitious enrollment goals; strategies should include mass marketing, community outreach and engagement, and social media.
Graphic Design of Recruitment Materials and Advertisements.
Developing and implementing a DEI recruitment plan.
Oversee marketing spend and ensure that marketing/Advertising campaigns stay within budget.
Prepare creative content for IRB Submission and quality reviews.
Establish connections both within and outside the University to build collaborative recruitment relationships.
Manage vendor connections and financial planning for strategies.

Duties include: Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function or program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.
Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for program or function.
Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences.
May participate in development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures.
May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.
May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments.
May also supervise staff.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of Graphic Design Experience.
3+ years prior experience leading marketing and advertising strategy for clinical trials.
Excellent public relations skills.
Proficiency with Graphic Design software such as Adobe Suite or Figma.
Experience with SEO copywriting.
Social Media advertising experience.
Knowledge of IRB requirements for recruitment.
Clinical Research operations experience and knowledge of the drug development lifecycle strongly encouraged.
Ability to navigate complex systems and organizational structures.
Demonstrated understanding of program recruitment and/or ability to be resourceful and tactical in solving recruitment challenges.
The ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups at all levels of authority.
A proven judgment in setting priorities with a strong attention to detail is also required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED): Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
Relevant subject matter knowledge.
Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
Occasionally use a telephone.
Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $66,560 to $120,000 per annum.
